Several weeks ago I started a rather lengthy post about our weekend up in the North Country. I never finished it, and now, compared to some of the things we saw, words just won't do Mother Nature much justice. So, I'll just let the photos speak for themselves:




This was the view across the street from our hotel in Saranac Lake.







And this was the view from the summit on Jenkins Mountain, in Paul Smiths. It was breathtaking.
