I am almost ready to throw in the towel on the dishwasher purchase. We were all over town looking this weekend. Kevin only cares about one thing - that it's stainless steel. Who cares how it functions? Who cares how expensive it is? What about installation, since there's never been a dishwasher in our house, ever? What about delivery? What about the headache this gave me?

And second, what about my aching back from stripping wallpaper this weekend? It took us 5 hours to strip down the wallpaper border in the master bedroom. 5 hours!!!! The good news is that we now have the cleanest walls you've ever seen in your life. And they're ready to paint! So, it looks as though next weekend Kevin and I will be moving into the guest room, while we prep our bedroom for painting. Then as soon as the weather warms up, the carpet is coming off so we can refinish the hardwood floors. We are really on a roll!
